Henry-Doorly Zoo’s Halloween Spooktacular
December 10, 2008
Tom,
Here is my list of leads from this falls milk/ears events. This would be 1/3 to 1/5 of the total leads from each event (3-5 agents per event). We ran a consistent 30% interested. I have also included the photos from the Henry-Doorly Zoo’s Halloween Spooktacular event. I have never seen a longer line at any event for any reason. The day was cold and very windy and these people waited in line for 30 minutes or more for the milk software. There were three agents working the event, Kyle Johnson, Kevin Capice, and me. The zoo was so happy with the program they have asked us to be at all their events. This one had a mere 18,000 people and the “big” events are this summer. Because of milk I had the largest sales months in October and November since I became an agent and I still have over 100 “interested” leads yet to be run. As a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with a milk lead that is a renters policy, 3 cars, umbrella, and 2 life policies. I have many marketing lines in the water including postcards, calling services, etc. These pale in comparison to milk when you compare return on investment. Thanks for letting us use the milk program.

December 9, 2008Tom,
Mid week I was contacted by one of the officer from the local police department. She is involved in our safety fair. There was a magic show coming back to town and she convinced them to donate 50% of the proceeds to the event. I got to stand up in front of, I’m guessing 1500 community members and tell them about our safety fair and more specifically the milk software. Afterwards about 20 came by and filled out contact cards.
This June will be our 5th event. It is now named the Officer Newbill Kid’s Safety Fair after the first police officer ever to die in the line of duty here in Moscow. He was an active participant in this event.
I will keep you posted.
Regards and happy holidays!

Kim,
I will forward you another spread sheet that I am working from. I still need to add about 500 cards to the file. I am writing more business from these events than I can process. It is very difficult to track in e-CMS which accounts go with which event. I’ve been assured (can you tell I’m smiling) that the next generation of e-CMS will have an improved lead source tracking system. I will be able to give you a general idea how much business has come from milk before the end of the month. Touch base with me at the end of this tracking. Thanks.

Pet owners are urged to bring their pets and children for a FREE digital photo and FREE copy of the Home Organizer® Software Program ($49.95 Value) featuring the m.i.l.k.® Digital ID and EARS® Digital ID
GOODYEAR, AZ—(November 12, 2008)—Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® invites all pet owners in and around Goodyear to bring their children and pets this Saturday, November 15, to Roscoe Dog Park.
“We want it to be the biggest m.i.l.k. / E.A.R.S. event ever,” said Farmers agent Scott Hoppa of Buckeye, Arizona. “A group of Farmers agents will man a specially-designed 36-foot Managing Information for Lost Kids (m.i.l.k.) / Electronic Animal Recovery System (EARS) mobile unit, the very first of its kind. We will photograph each pet and child and place the images on a CD-R which will be given to parents along with a copy of the Home Organizer software. Should a child or pet should go missing, the appropriate Digital ID created by Home Organizer can be forwarded to the proper authorities. The RV advertises the m.i.l.k and EARS program in pictures and words. It’s a reminder of Farmers’ commitment to keeping the kids and pets in Goodyear safe.”
What: Wag and Tag Event and Farmers E.A.R.S. and M.i.l.k program.
Where: Roscoe Dog Park, 15600 W Roeser Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338 West of Estrella Parkway, South of MC85. This is a City sponsored event.

November 3, 2008Subject: FallBack Festival MILK event
Hello everyone!
We had yet another successful MILK event! Farmers Insurance sponsored the FREE pony rides for the 2nd year at this event.
We helped 86 families protect their children with MILK, and 42 of the 86 checked off insurance needs! Think about it…we don’t even ASK them to do that!
What if “all” you got was one household from this event…with say 2 cars, a house, umbrella, 2-4 life policies, a couple ROTH IRAs…
…and they stayed with you for say 10 years…and you got to know their family and friends…and found out where their kids went to school, and adopted that school, and got known by the teachers…who might be married to a firefighter or police officer…who would invite you into their station…who you could invite to your next MILK event to be in uniform and help out…would that day have paid off??? I think so!
Think LONG TERM impact on both your community and your business.
Thank you for the efforts that day of:
Susanne Romo
Joaquin Lopez
Nick Kazerouni
John Lynn
William Greenwald
Tim Jarvis for getting us the Community Sponsorship money
We were in Downtown San Diego…I live in Chula Vista, about 20 miles away…and I had a few of my neighbors come up to me and thank me for being there for their kids….what better advertising than that is there!

October 29, 2008Hi Tom:
When we concluded our training session on Thursday, one of Glenn Smith’s new career agents came to me and asked if she could borrow some of my supplies for an upcoming m.i.l.k. event she had scheduled. Of course I let her borrow it. She just returned it to me and told me that the training really helped her. The event was held at a school and she gave out about 150 cd’s and received a total of 250 leads. She has already sold the School Principal multiple policies and has been given access to the teachers. She is starting to follow-up on her other leads. I have copied her on this so that she can add specifics and upload some pictures.
Thanks,
Ken
