FARMERS INSURANCE TO SHOWCASE M.I.L.K PROGRAM AT THE WESTERN IDAHO FAIR BOOTH AUGUST 15-24 IN BOISE
BOISE, ID—(August 11, 2008)– Farmers Insurance Group of Companies®, a gold level sponsor of the Western Idaho Fair is once again providing child ID Bracelets to all children to wear while at the Fair August 15-24. The bracelets can be picked up at the Farmers booth at Gate B, “Expo Idaho”, in Boise.
Kris Pacey, Farmers Idaho State Executive Director notes, “Over 75 Farmers agents and employees will be working out of our new Customer Care Vehicle each day to help locate kids of all ages who become “lost” at the fair. Farmers agents and employees assure the safety of children at the fair by volunteering their time to staff the “Lost Kids Booth” just inside Gate B.”
”Pacey encourages parents to immediately register their kids at the Farmers booth upon arriving at the Fair. “Each child will receive an ID Bracelet to ensure immediate action should the parent and child become separated while at the Fair. Parents are reminded to bring a cell phone, if possible, so they may be contacted quickly when their child is located,” Pacey added.
Farmers volunteers will provide Digital Photo ID’s through Farmers Missing Information on Lost Kids (m.i.l.k.) program. Each child will receive a coloring book & crayons while parents will receive a Child ID Kit.”
The Farmers m.i.l.k. program is aimed at aiding in the recovery of lost children. In the event of an emergency, the m.i.l.k. Digital ID can immediately be forwarded to local authorities and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The m.i.l.k. Digital ID has been referred to as the first step in the national Amber Alert plan.
